PURPOSE: Meet the coaches and have fun
TIME: 5:30pm - 8:30pm
RSVP: to the office by 8/20 with the number of people attending and what you will be bringing (i.e., salad, fruit, side dish, snack). Please bring enough to feed 5 to 8 people.
Drinks, Hot dogs, BBQ and dessert will be provided.

CONGRATULATIONS TO TAYLOR O'BRIEN FOR HER SELECTION TO THE USA JUNIOR PAN PAC TEAM. THE COMPETITION WILL TAKE PLACE IN MAUI FROM AUGUST 26TH-30TH. THE MEET WILL FEATURE SOME OF THE BEST 18 AND UNDER SWIMMERS FROM THE USA, CANADA, JAPAN, AUSTRALIA AND OTHER PACIFIC RIM NATIONS. TAYLOR WILL SWIM THE 10K AS WELL AS POOL EVENTS. CONGRATULATIONS TO TAYLOR O'BRIEN FOR FINISHING 26TH OVERALL AND 6TH OVERALL IN THE 18&UNDER DIVISION IN THE 10K NATIONAL OPEN WATER SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS HELD IN
LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA THIS PAST WEEKEND.

CONGRATULATIONS TO TAYLOR O'BRIEN FOR QUALIFYING FOR THE NATIONAL YOUTH OPEN WATER TEAM FOR 2010-2011. TAYLOR WAS ONE OF 6 18&UNDER GIRLS CHOSEN TO THIS TEAM BASED ON HER PERFORMANCE IN THE 10K LAST WEEKEND.

CONGRATULATIONS to the 7 swimmers who competed in the Charlotte Ultraswim.
CONGRATULATIONS to the girls for finishing 8th as a team and for finishing 3 points behind 6th place!
CONGRATULATIONS to Taylor O'Brien for earning PAAC's first medals ever at the Ultraswim. Taylor finished 3rd in the 800 Free and 1500 Free. Taylor also finished 7th in the 400 Free. Currently, her 800 time is ranked 80th in the world and the mile is ranked 21st in the world for 2010.
CONGRATULATIONS to Gillian Ryan for finishing 4th in the 800. Her time in the 800 is currently ranked 117th in the world and her mile time is ranked 73rd in the world.

THE GAMES WILL TAKE PLACE IN SINGAPORE FROM AUGUST 14-26TH. SWIMMING WILL TAKE PLACE FROM THE 15TH-20TH. THIS IS ALLIE'S FIRST INTERNATIONAL TRIP WHERE SHE WILL BE REPRESENTING TEAM USA.
